Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of trelliscorporate.com (the "site"), operated by Trellis Ltd (RC 8992584), Lagos, Nigeria. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What Trellis is, and what it is not
Trellis Ltd is a corporate structuring consultancy. We advise on the design of cross-border corporate structures and coordinate their implementation with registered agents, corporate service providers and licensed professionals in the relevant jurisdictions.
An engagement with Trellis begins only when a written engagement letter has been signed by both parties. Until then, no duty of care arises and you should not act on anything on this site without taking your own professional advice.
2. The structuring advisor tool
The structuring advisor on this site produces a directional, educational output based on a small number of general questions. It is not a substitute for advice.
- It cannot capture the facts that determine the right structure in any real case.
- Its output is general information, not a recommendation for your specific circumstances.
- Tax, corporate and regulatory rules in every jurisdiction it references change, sometimes with immediate effect. The tool may not reflect the current position.
- You should not incorporate any entity, transfer any shares, or take any other step in reliance on its output.
3. Accuracy and currency of content
We take care with what we publish, and we work from primary sources where we can. Even so, the jurisdictions we write about change their rules frequently, and content on this site may become out of date without notice. We make no warranty that any content is accurate, complete or current at the time you read it.
Nothing on this site should be relied on for any specific transaction. Take advice on your own facts.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Trellis Ltd, its directors, officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, including the structuring advisor. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential and economic loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, the Trellis name and mark, the structuring advisor logic, design and code, belongs to Trellis Ltd or is used with permission.
You may read, print and share the content for your own non-commercial use with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish or adapt it for commercial purposes, or use it to build a competing tool or service, without our written permission.

This site links to third-party services, including our scheduling and form providers, and to external sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
